I moved to Waterville in 2000 when I was promoted to the position of Postmaster by USPS.  Having since retired from the U. S. Postal Service, I wanted to pay forward the support this community has given me. 

I was originally appointed to Council in late 2011, when the previous Councilmember resigned.  The desire to learn and serve inspired me to run for election. 

My mission is to see this community thrive, move steadily into the 21st century, yet retain the small town atmosphere we all enjoy. 

My family consists of 5 adult children, and 13 grandchildren.
